I recently had a exhibit with several other great artist, The Harding Art Show. It was a three day event with long hours of explaining my process. First, I want to thank the volunteers that did so much to make the artist experience so easy and fun. Next, I'd like to thank all the patrons that came by my booth. It truly is fun talking to new friends about my work. I should have kept count of how many times I explained how I transferred ink onto beeswax:) It can be tiring but its also fun to see peoples expression after they learn the technique. I'm lucky to have a process that creates curiosity. It generates a conversation, and sometimes it generates sales. And because I did have several sales at Harding, I'l be in the studio trying to build up more inventory for my remaining shows this summer and fall. No rest for me! My next show is the first Friday in July. Luckily the space isn't huge, so I won't need a lot of new work. If you are in the Middle TN area, drop by and see me at the reception. It's at Jack Yacoubian Jewelers right on the square in Franklin. More info on my Events page.I'm going to get back in the studio now. Below is one of the paintings that I sold at the Harding Show. If you were at the show and are interested in purchasing a painting, let me know. 30% of the sale will go directly to the school. If you bought work from me, Thank you!! It was a pleasure meeting you all! Talk to you soon! RLP
