Here's a detail shot of my latest painting. I really liked how it came out. Wasn't sure I would be able to capture the chrome but I think it worked out nicely.
I have a new show coming up in May. It's in Franklin at Jack Yacoubian Jewelry. A really cool space. I'll be hanging several paintings that will stay up through the month of May. More details will be on my event page.
This week Im in the garage. Not doing the projects I really want to do, but reorganizing and going through materials. Once I get things in better order, then I will be able to get to the projects I want to do. The list is long. If I had more energy and no other responsibilities I could work 16 hour days. One of my projects is to build more panels for paintings. Another is building furniture out of the Baby Grand Piano and all the speaker boxes that were damaged from the 2010 flood. I guess putting these off gave me more time to think about my designs.
I did get my inventory complete. Well almost. Just a few odd objects to get finalized, but for the most part it's done. Now that it is done and I have images of all my work, I'll post some more of my assemblages. (As soon as I get time).
That's all for now. Just wanted to catch up. RLP
It's 2015! Time for me to regroup and reorganize all my work and ideas about new work. Today I spent hours taking photos of inventory so I can take count of what I have in stock. I have quite a bit. I have several items I've created that I've never shown. As soon as I get a chance I'll share images here on the website. The one photo you see here is one of them. It's an unedited photo, so not the best. I'll have plenty more in the next day or two. after I get everything in my inventory I may offer some deals on selected items. Keep your eye out on Facebook, or here, for more details. I hate to have too many things in storage. I'd rather someone enjoy it in their home or office.
In the mean time, I'll be working on a couple of paintings commissioned from Copper Moon Gallery in Louisville, or New Albany to be more precise. Part of my organizing is so I can get my tools back out and cut new panels. Looks like I'll be out in the garage just in time for the Arctic weather of Middle TN. I'm sure it'l be warm again in a few days:-P
Can't wait to share more of my creations in the near future. Thanks for reading my ramblings. RLP
