Wow! I've had a really busy schedule lately. I'm not complaining though. I like whats been going on. I painted a mural, gave a talk at the new event ArTable, and now I'm building picture frames for the Hermitage (from old window moldings that came from the Hermitage church. I'm also teaching a couple of ink transfer classes in November. I'll make sure and get the information out real soon. I do know the first one will be in Murfreesboro, TN at Moxie Art, on November 10. That's a Saturday from 10am-2pm. Should be a great class, limited seating, and plenty of time to experiment with t e process. Got to run for now, but I'll get more posted later about new things, old things, and whatever else I can think of, later!
I'm back in the studio finally. It was a great experience working on the mural but I'm glad to be in my studio. I feel a little lost. I can't believe it's been almost two months since I created a wax painting. I'm sure I'll get back into a rhythm pretty quickly. I'm not messing around either, I'm painting an image of the Cumberland river foot bridge, near Two Rivers Park. At 30x36" it's the largest I've painted in a long time. I can't wait to show it off. I'll be back soon!
Here is where I share my thoughts about different things: my art, process, shows, inspirations, and whatever else I think is worth sharing. Please feel free to give feedback.
