I spent most of yesterday cleaning up my collage mess and today I'm melting wax for a new painting. While I was waiting for the wax to melt I was deciding on what the next painting will be. Sometimes it is hard for me to make a decision. As I've stated before, if I have too much freedom in my choices, I freeze up. I have to have a target to help me stay on track most of the time. So far this barn image is the winner. I took this photo somewhere between Shelbyville and Fayettville TN. It was one of those "I gotta stop and get a photo" moments. Glad I did. Now I need to decide on the colors I'll use. The last barn was red, so maybe a green or more browns with hints of color. The day I took the pic it was rainy, with a gloomy sky. Maybe more browns this time. I'll be back, and maybe I'll have progress photos tomorrow. RLP
