I thought I would be working on a larger painting, but as usual I got side tracked. When I can't make my mind up on a painting I work though ideas on a smaller scale. Not a bad thing, I just want to get further along on my bigger ideas. I guess the bonus to me working on smaller panels is that I get to experiment with how things work, like colors and materials. You would think that I have this process down to an exact science but I still have aha moment from time to time. I love the aha moments. The painting posted here is on a panel I had stuck some blueprints on. It has more of a transfer of the blueprints under the beeswax and then an ink transfer on top. I like the layers of things in my paintings it just takes a lot more planning and patience. Next on the table is tulips. One painting done today and I will get anther going tomorrow. I'll be back with those results soon. RLP
