Artist Statement
My mixed media creations are fragments of dreams, memories, and/or irrational thoughts. I have collected these thoughts in sketchbooks and journals for several years. While these simple drawings or short stories mean little to others, in my mind they reflect my life’s experiences. To share these experiences I simplify and/or combine the complex fragments and use them to tell a story. Even if I were to write out my stories, It is my hope that the viewer will take these creations and imagine a narrative of their own.
